Dunkers Kulturhus

Dunkers-KulturhusDunkers Kulturhus or The Henry Dunker Culture Centre is an architectural masterpiece and is located in the centre of Helsingborg. It is a centre for rotating exhibitions that displays views over the Sound and its culture. One of the many popular and permanent exhibitions is the “Municipal rapture” that is appreciated by the masses.

The spacious building designed by architect Kim Utzon is used to hold art exhibitions, dance, concerts, music, debate, theatre and many other events. The museum shop offers unusual rubber designs too. The added attraction is that the visitors can interact with the exhibits by writing or building. Children’s exhibitions provide information about regional history, festivals, customs and traditions along with ghost stories.

The art exhibition centre was funded by Henry Dunker, a businessman, and is named after him. It offers creative theatre for children and regular lectures on various subjects for the adults.
